An exciting and rewarding opportunity exists with Mt. Irenaeus for an individual to coordinate and develop ministerial outreaches to the St. Bonaventure University community in coordination and collaboration with the friars of Mt. Irenaeus, Students for the Mountain and other primary ministers.
 
Key responsibilities include:
 
    • Collaborates with St. Bonaventure University Vice President of University Ministries and Ministry Team coordinating Mt. Irenaeus programs and activities with the on-campus community.
    • Attends and participates in the primary meetings of the Students Coordinators and Students for the Mountain.
    • Oversees – through and with student coordinators and the leaders and members of Students for the Mountain – the various sub-communities and the Mountain’s extended ministry to the campus, communicating and coordinating this with the other coordinators and primary ministers
 
Qualified candidates should have an advanced degree in Theology or Pastoral Ministry and must enthusiastically embrace the mission of the Mountain and understand its role in the personal and spiritual development of those who visit. Preference will be given to individuals who have the desire and/or experience in the design, development and delivery of ministerial programs to young adults.

Coordinator of Development and Volunteers
Mt. Irenaeus has an exciting opportunity to work with us on our development and volunteer efforts.  
 
In this important role you will work closely with Mt. Irenaeus staff and Board of Trustees in organizing, planning and conducting a variety of development initiatives. You will have the opportunity to develop key skills in fundraising, relationship development and grant proposal writing, publication and Web site content in support of the mission and vision of Mt. Irenaeus.  
 
The Coordinator of Development and Volunteers will focus on individual/family giving for endowment and special projects as well as annual support via events and the annual Mountain Fund. The Coordinator will serve as a liaison with the St. Bonaventure University Office of Development.
 
If you are out going, self motivated, posses good communication and organization skills you should consider applying.  Qualified candidates must enthusiastically embrace the mission of the Mountain and understand its role in the personal and spiritual development of those who visit.  
 
We are open to some limited degree of flexibility in location (most prospects are in the Northeast) and work days/hours.  Travel to meet with prospects and regular periodic meetings with Mountain leadership is required.
