St. Irenaeus Secular Franciscan Order
The St. Irenaeus Secular Franciscan Order fraternity was officially established at Mt. Irenaeus on Oct. 15, 2006. The official establishment concluded four years of formation and preparation. The Secular Franciscan Order is a recognized Order in the Catholic Church composed mainly of married and single people who feel called to profess their faith by committing to follow the Gospel life in the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi. There are currently 12 professed members. The officers of the fraternity are:

Lou McCormick, OFM, is spiritual assistant to the fraternity. The St. Irenaeus SFO fraternity meets regularly the last Sunday of each month at the Mountain from 1:15 to 3:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend and observe. For further information call Fr.
